About
Using basic tango steps and holds in the context of group facilitation we can get to know ourselves and others better.
Description
Therapeutic Tango – Meeting in the Middle

Lead by Genevieve Picquart a senior accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist
Assisted by Helen Thatcher Vital Development facilitator

This group caters for people who have already completed some personal development work and therefore enjoy being held and holding. One aspect of this is feeling comfortable with allowing someone else into your close personal space.

Although using the medium of tango these sessions are not really about learning the moves but rather about developing the ability to connect with others and increasing our self-awareness.

The evening will include:
Warm up exercises
Connection exercises
Some basic tango techniques
Professional input through group facilitation
Different music to enable getting in touch with different emotions

This will take place in a safe and relaxed, non-judgmental environment where participants will have an opportunity to express their feelings about their experience in order to connection more deeply with the inner world.

You do not need to bring a partner as we willl all take turns in leading and following.

Simply bring yourself. wear comfortable clothing and either shoes with soft, slippery soles or socks.

The investment is per session £15
