Back by Demand, Fake Bush delights audiences with her new show!
Part of Emporium's 'Best of The Fest' mini-season, back by popular demand.

After almost two years away from the boards of Brighton, Fake Bush's new show ‘Accept No Imitations’, created specially for Emporium, heralded her triumphant return with sell-out performances.

Lucy Bundy’s affectionate comic tribute to Kate Bush is widely acclaimed, winning several awards for her true to life yet tongue in cheek performance. Presented in a warm, laid back manner, this is a genuine salute to a hugely loved pop icon who has only toured once over 30 years ago! This is as close as most of us are likely to get to the real thing, and wow-wow-wow this fake will not disappoint!

“A Bestival institution, it wouldn’t be the same without a bit of Bush” - Rob Da Bank (Radio 1 DJ and Bestival Curator).

“Highly recommended” - The Kate Bush Fan Club

“Better than the real thing” - Fake Bush's mum

“Private Lives” by Noël Coward

In Private Lives, passion, laughter, romance, anger and love set the stage for a classic battle of the sexes. Divorcees Elyot and Amanda unwittingly book adjoining rooms while honeymooning with their new spouses – Sybil and Victor.

Realising a pair of mistaken marriages, Elyot and Amanda attempt to escape their mismatched partners together. With haste and under the cover of darkness, they flee their honeymoon accommodation and unsuspecting spouses in search of respite within Amanda’s secluded Paris flat, only to be discovered several days later by their jilted lovers whilst in the midst of the most compromising of situations. This provides the ingredients for one of Noël Coward's sparkling cocktails of witty, fast moving hilarious comedies.

Why not take Afternoon Tea after the matinee performance on Saturday for an all-inclusive price of £12 per ticket.
