Brought to you by the Secret Comedy Club
THE SECRET COMEDY CLUB SATURDAYS
WHO WE ARE:
Brighton & Hove’s best small comedy club and winner of the Audience Choice Award for Best Fringe Venue 2021. We are the only comedy club in Brighton that 5 days per week from Tuesday to Saturday. If you prefer a safer and more friendly experience than going to a big comedy club this is the venue for you.
This is a much more intimate experience than going to a big club so in order to keep it friendly and fun we run a no heckling policy at The Secret Comedy Club.*.
WHO'S ON?
You can find a list of who is performing on our website here
WHAT WE DO:
Expect award winning comedy with top tier headliners from stage and TV and support from the best up and coming names on the UK comedy circuit. We have a new line up each week, a new headliner each week and a new MC each week so you are always getting something fresh!
If you would like to know who is on you can check our website and click the who's on button.
"It's a intimate, friendship-making and entertaining experience." You will be up close and personal (it IS cosy!) with funny folks from London and south coast at the most welcoming and friendly funny venue in Hove (actually). Welcome ....to the Secret Comedy Club! Shhhh....
HOW IT WORKS:
Doors open at 5pm for the early show and 8pm for the late show. The shows start at 6pm and 8:30pm so there's plenty of time to grab some food & drinks before the shows begin.
Entry: £25 on the door
Advance ticket sales online but if you choose to buy on the door (if we have any left) get here early to avoid disappointment as spaces are very limited. We only have tickets on the door if we are not sold out online or if someone hasn't turned up to take their seat.
As this show is regularly sold out priority seating is given to ticket holders who arrive at least 15min before we start. If you arrive later than that and have a pre bought ticket we will still guarantee you a space but we cannot guarantee where you will be seated. Anyone arriving 15min or more after we start will only be let in if there are still seats available. No refunds for late arrivals.*
*No refunds on tickets for late arrivals or if you are asked to leave for heckling
We would rather not have empty seats so we may resell the tickets if you arrive late and have not let us know.

Featured Artists Exhibition at Shoreham Gallery for August 2022.
An exhibition of paintings, prints and ceramics by two established local artists.
Karolyn and Chris jointly decided to mount an exhibition to highlight Shoreham's special beach and river.
Chris has worked with clay to produce a body of work made especially for the exhibition. Following many walks along the beach and river, taking photographs and sketching ideas, these have been translated into beach huts, ‘Bathing Belles’, fish, oyster catchers and lighthouses. All work is either Raku fired or stoneware in an electric kiln.
Karolyn’s work for the exhibition has been inspired after walking and making drawings in all weathers along the river and Shoreham Beach, in particular the rocks on the beach with glimpses of seabirds, cold-water swimmers, kite surfers and lively dogs with their walkers. Work includes paintings, prints and some experimental mixed media pieces.

This is more than an exhibition; this is a call for action. Step into Goal Power! and make a pledge to actively support, grow and shout about football for all.
2022 will see the biggest participation figures in women’s football ever. Matches are now shown on live mainstream tv, stadiums will be full for the Lionesses European Championship matches, more girls are playing in schools than ever before. Football has the power to change lives, and footballers are using this power to take a stand on beliefs close to their hearts.
How do we make sure this momentum continues, that women and girls have the same opportunities to play and work in football, that women’s teams are successful and sustainable?
This exhibition gives you our dream squad, women who have dedicated their lives to the ‘beautiful game’. Share in their stories of resistance, perseverance, but above all a love for football that means they have trailblazed the way for women and girls today. From the feminist players of 1894 and the war worker footballers of the First World War to those who defied the Football Association to play and those who have changed the Football Association from within.
We pledge to shine a light on their stories and experiences. What’s your pledge?
We’re delighted to announce that we are working on a series of community activations with Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club. Together with past and present players and coaches we’re exploring the exciting heritage of women’s teams in Brighton & Hove and the power of football in women and girls lives today.
Look out for the Footballers in Residence programme. Local teams will be delving into Brighton Museum, holding special events, and sharing their discoveries and stories.

Tatty Devine’s statement jewellery is always ahead of the curve. Their jewellery tells stories and generates conversation.
Misshapes: The Making of Tatty Devine, features over 100 pieces from the past 20 years, from the early leather cuffs and piano belts to giant two metre versions of their ‘greatest hits’ including a lobster, their magpies and a huge banana, alongside sketchbooks, ephemera and two new films.
Tatty Devine’s founders Rosie Wolfenden and Harriet Vine set up a market stall in Spitalfields Market in the mid 1990s. Together they challenged jewellery conventions and invested in a laser cutting machine, going on to create personality-packed jewellery much loved and still culturally relevant 20 years on.
